Mfuzo Boxing camp continues to produce talented boxers that can compete at the highest level. Five of their boxers, four girls and one boy, will be representing Eastern Cape in the Juniors national championships.
These young boxers will be exchanging blows with the best from across the country from 14-18 December at the Great Centenary Hall in Gqeberha.
Ilithalethu Matshotyana (50kg), Asanele Macwili (52kg), Qhamani Matebese (70kg), Azola Moses (54kg) and Thabiseng Lombo (37.5kg), all looked sharp and ready for their big trip. They expressed their happiness and the desire to make everyone associated with them proud.
Mfuzo Boxing camp’s experienced coach Luyanda “Tyson” Dibela, also part of the Eastern Cape’s coaching staff, was over the moon.
“We are proud as the club to send these five young boxers to the national championships. This is a reward for our hard work as coaches, and we will be delighted to see them bringing home gold medals.”
Mfuzo Boxing camp has made Makhanda people proud this year and has never disappointed in producing young talent.
