The Fair spills out of the hall, into the car park, and right down into the pretty Deanery garden behind, where a Kids’ Zone will feature face-painting, a jumping castle, and special stalls to suit little people with very small budgets.
Other favourites are cakes, a bookstall, tombola, boerewors rolls and sosatie rolls, as well as Indian delights, pancakes, a tea garden, a wide variety of plants, sewing and knitting, frozen meats, lovely fresh fruit and veg, pre-used clothing and White Elephant, pictures and cards, and a wine auction.
Don’t forget to bring your scissors and knives to be sharpened. And to forestall any complaints that the event clashes with the rugby World Cup final, a big screen is being installed so you can enjoy that too!
