Against Queen’s, St Andrew's were sent in to bat first.
St Andrew’s found themselves under pressure early on with both openers trapped leg before wicket (LBW).
Brendan Owen and Andrew Mills looked to restore the innings but St Andrew’s made the error of losing wickets either side of the drinks break giving Queen’s the momentum.
Zach Melvill struck the ball well for St Andrew’s College before being run out on 34 as St Andrew’s ended on 154 all out.

Zach Melvill attacked the off stump line and Grant Dixie bowled with good pace from the other end.
Queen’s found themselves on the back foot at 40/5.
Queens were dismissed for 90, St Andrew’s winning by 64 runs.

St Andrew's won the toss and had little hesitation in electing to bat first.
St Andrew’s openers Nicholas Embling (101) and Anthony Dakin (56) batted well, compiling a superb 156 run opening partnership.
Gordon Everard (55) and Andrew Mills (71) then continued the onslaught posting a formidable 327 runs in their 50 overs.
“Nicholas Embling must be commended on a superb day, with 100 off 98 balls,” said Carl Bradfield, head of cricket at St Andrew's.
North Eastern Cape High School started their innings off with some lusty blows into the stands, but ultimately the daunting 328 run chase proved to be too much for the visitors who failed to compile partnerships on a good battingtrack.
Steven Green’s left arm spin kept the St Andrew’s attack together with a spell of 4/28.
