On Monday 19 August the week kicks off with a lunchtime seminar taken by the Rhodes Honours Directing class.
The open workshop is a crash course aimed at anyone interested in the language of imagery.
"Whether you’re an aspiring film director, movie addict, theatre lover or Game of Thrones obsessive – there’ll be something for you here," the organisers promise.
There will be a repeat on Tuesday 20 August at the same time, 1pm-2pm, at the Rhodes Drama Department.
While often referred to as being about Asperger's, or high-functioning autism, author of the book on which the theatre piece The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is based Mark Haddon wrote, "if anything it’s a novel about difference, about being an outsider, about seeing the world in a surprising and revealing way. Other performances are Debris, Red and Rabbit Hole.
On Wednesday are Debris at 7pm and Red at 8pm.
On Thursday are The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time at 7pm and Rabbit Hole at 8pm. Final shows for Red and Debris are on Friday with Red showing at 7pm and Debris at 8pm.
The week's shows come to a close on Saturday with Rabbit Hole at 7pm and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time at 8pm.
All performances take place at the Rhodes Drama Department, amid a festive atmosphere with art and photography displays, live music and live performances.
Red is written by John Logan and directed by Jade Manicom. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, written by Mark Haddon and adapted by Simon Stephens, is directed by Simona Mazza. Both will be in the Box Theatre.
Rabbit Hole, written by David Lindsay-Abaire is directed by Maude Sandham. Like Debris, it will be performed in the Main Theatre Recess. Debris, written by Dennis Kelly, is directed by Daniel Whitehorn.
Tickets at R20 for the public and R15 for students are available at the Theatre Cafe at the Drama Department.

Young Directors Season (YDS) is the final practical showcase undertaken by the Rhodes Drama Departments Honours Directing class. Each candidate is assigned to create and direct a 30-minute production, to showcase and embody their development as a director and artist through their degree.
