Residents on the west side of Somerset Heights have again been left without water after another pipe burst in Ilchester Road. This is the third major pipe-burst within 150 metres since April, according to local residents.
The latest incident has left them without water since early hours of Sunday.
The Fire and Rescue Services, which doubles as the municipality's after hours contact, told Grocott's Mail on Sunday that the municipal workers couldn't fix the pipe that day because it was under a boundary wall. The owner of the property would have to be contacted yesterday before any repairs could be done.
