In the Better Ball Stableford on 1 December, Gavin Dugmore and Gladman Lukwe beat 12 other players, winning by 41 points. Johannes van Onselen won the PG Glass Individual Medal on 4 December. Of the 18 players, Morne Sweeney took second and Pieter Oosthuizen third.
Two club winner was Jimmy Emslie on the eighth hole. The Kenrich Lamb Day Better Ball Stableford, 8 December, was won by Cambell Westcott and a Mr Riley. Bob Keeble and Johannes van Onselen took second. Two club went to Bert Evans and Andrew Bovey on the eighth hole. There were 18 players. Rob Wilmot and Gary Frayne (42 points) won the Wimpy Better Ball Stableford (16 players) on 11 December.
Gavin Dugmore and Warren Henry (42) took second with third going to Wouter van Eyck and Cyril Tarr (39). The PSG Konsult Stableford Multiplier (four players) on 15 December was won by Rob Beer and Bob Keeble, with Tim Fenner and Cambell Westcott in second. The GBS Four Ball Alliance – two to count on every hole – on 18 December saw a total of 20 players. Leon Claasen, Andrew Bovey, Johannes van Onselen and Rudi Marx (86 Points) took first place.
Second went to Frank Kroon, Daniel Behrens, Philip and Neil Dowdle (83), with Warren Henry, Paul Davies, Etienne le Roux and Krinesan Moodley (83) third. Two clubs winner was Johannes van Onselen on the third hole and Philip Dowdle and Krinesan Moodley on the eighth.
The final golf competition of the year, the Pick n Pay Individual Stableford (18 players) on 22 December was won by John Stapleton 39 Points (18 h/cap). Second was Andrew Bovey 37 (5), and third Johannes van Onselen 36 (4). Two club winner was Andrew Bovey on the eighth hole. According to Mike Behrens, club media officer, the normal Saturday golf competition will take place tomorrow.
