The convenors of the Gardens of Grahamstown competition, being run in conjunction with the Grahamstown Flower Festival, have announced the entrants in the competition.
The convenors of the Gardens of Grahamstown competition, being run in conjunction with the Grahamstown Flower Festival, have announced the entrants in the competition.
The garden competition is being co-ordinated and sponsored by Pam Golding Properties in Grahamstown and the judging process is being undertaken by three landscape designers and horticulturists – Jo Clinton of Jo Clinton Landscape Design in Johannesburg; Warren Lange, who lives in Port Alfred and commutes regularly to his HortCouture business in Johannesburg; and Malcolm Southey, who owns a garden centre in Grahamstown and holds a national diploma in landscaping technology.
The 18 entrants in the Gardens of Grahamstown competition, in their respective categories, are:

The gardens will be open to the public over the weekend of the Grahamstown Flower Festival, 23 and 24 October. An entry fee of R20 will be charged at each garden, except for the winning gardens, and the proceeds will go to a charity of the owner’s choice.
