But saying all of them looked elegant would be a lie. Our provincial politicians really need to hire a style guru to redeem them from their current state of fashion faux pas syndrome!

But saying all of them looked elegant would be a lie. Our provincial politicians really need to hire a style guru to redeem them from their current state of fashion faux pas syndrome!
To start off with, Roads and Public Works MEC Pemmy Majodina wore a colourful silky two piece suit.
Shoddy workmanship for starters, the trimmings were hideous, I do not know who made her dress but it looked awful. She is usually stylish but 2010 seems to have hit her on the wrong side: MEC please return that dress and ask for a refund!
The it was time to call the bees for their lost queen! MPL Busisiwe Nodada wore a shocking yellow and lime suit.
My goodness, lady, I know you like your ANC colours but that attire looks horrendous. Gay pride gone wrong perhaps? Meanwhile, Social Development, MEC Nonkosi Mvana’s ugly suit would have been better used to dress a scarecrow for the maize fields in Limpopo.
Her head gear looked so awful, it almost made me cry. The male politicians looked okay, but Agriculture MEC Mbulelo Sogoni needs to upgrade his look a bit. Those granddaddy pants should be burnt in a bonfire.
Also, I think a provincial government gym isn’t such a bad idea after all as Health MEC Phumolo Masualle is starting to show the African bulge.
Time to hit the gym, sire! On the other hand, MPL Viola Mtongana wore a cerise suit, and as awful as it was, somone else also decided to also wear it!
Well, when they laid eyes on each other those looks could have killed a cat. But I cannot finish my story without mentioning the woman who wore a horrific dress at the media lockup.
The dark beauty appeared to have cut up her duvet and decided to wear it. Surely a Chinese shop has better dresses, my sister? Next time you decide to wear your duvet to a government do, stay in your car.
The only saving grace I could see was the first citizen of the province, Kiviet herself who looked good in a silver and pink ensemble with the pearls on her dress echoed in her hairstyle.
ANC provincial spokesperson Mlibo Qoboshiyane looked plain but his wife Vatiswa looked just fabulous. Maybe she can give some politicians’ wives a hint or two? We can’t have our politicians looking like they have just returned from 30 years of isolation on a mite-infested island!
