As the Makhanda water crisis intensified this week, one resident was unnerved by the sight of blue water flowing from her tap. The resident posted her surprise cocktail to the Ward 4 service delivery WhatsApp group, prompting councillor Geoff Embling to call in Gubevu Maduna, Makana Municipality’s manager of engineering, infrastructure, water, and sewage, for urgent help.
