Just 3.2mm of rain was metered by Jim Cambray in Park Road this week, and a minuscule 0.2mm was measured by Paul Maylam in Cathcart Street.
Temperatures ranged from 14.5 to 33C. The hot, dry weather is taking its toll on plants – and the humans!
