A people’s person, a mother to two beautiful children, and progressive thinker who has a vision to keep up with the current industry trends and steering RMR in that direction.

I am Noxolo Manyati, I was born and bred in Grahamstown. I have a Bachelor degree in Journalism. I did multimedia but , I specialized in audio. I have worked in radio for about four years as a newsreader, presenter and audio editor. I am currently the head of tech and music compilers at Rhodes Music Radio. I am passionate about audio storytelling and being the voice of the voice-less especially those that come from my community.

I am Snegugu Khumalo, born and raised in a close-knit town in the Eastern Free State. I am a Rhodes University undergraduate Law and History student with a passion for good music. I am particularly interested in alternative R&B, Neo-Soul, Afro-pop/folk and Hip/Hop, with a growing interest in South African electronic folk and alternative music.

I'm currently going through my second year at Rhodes University studying BSc and this is my first time being involved in community radio which has been an exciting journey so far and something I was certainly looking forward to for a long time.

I am Likhapha Thaathaa. I was born and bred in Hanger’s Drift, a village in Berea district Lesotho. I graduated with a Diploma in Mass Communication from the University of Lesotho in 2017. I also graduated with a BA in Journalism from the University of the Free State in 2020. I am currently a PGdip student in Journalism and Media Studies at Rhodes University.

I am currently a student at Rhodes studying a BSS majoring in Organizational psychology, with Hopes and aspirations of being an industrial psychologist. I am a philanthropist who is extremely passionate about racing awareness and conversations around period poverty in South Africa. I've been involved in multiple outreach programs that aim to assist girls with sanitary towels and hygiene education.

I’m a Rhodes University Journalism Graduate. I'm obsessed with leveling the playing field in the arts space. I am part of the RMR Marketing team and I really love what I do.

My name is Unathi Landu. I was born in Alice and grew up in Makhanda. I have a level 4 certificate from ABET. I have been involved in a lot of community events such as the Makana Green Fun Run, Joza Youth Hub and Cleaning Makanda events. I have worked on a community radio station for 7 years as a presenter and a producer. By being ON AIR I believe that I am making someone feel better and that makes my day.

Mzwakhe Nhlabathi is a Bachelor of Journalism student at Rhodes University, majoring in Journalism and Media Studies as well as Sound Technology. He is a House Music enthusiast and since 2014, Mzwakhe has been building his career as a DJ and Music Producer. He established his own multimedia company MaxNote Media where he discovered his love for radio broadcasting.

I am Zanethemba Mdyogolo, born in Grahamstown. However, ever since I started primary school, I've never stayed in one place for more than 3 years. As a result, being the person that I am comes with a cocktail of different skills and personality traits, which I'd like to believe makes me a whole rounded radio personality! I'm Hlengiwe Khumalo, the East Rand (Johannesburg) is my home. I'm currently doing my second year in Law at Rhodes University. In the entirety of my school career, I've always been a public speaker. I've won a couple of Eisteddfod competitions; In my first year I was crowned the best speaker, representing Rhodes at the UFS Kovsie Moot competition. I cherish music very much and I believe I am quite the Hip-Hop fanatic. I'm genuinely an all-round nice guy, if I do say so myself.

I am interested in Radio, especially in news reading and sports presenting. I have worked with Radio Grahamstown and Cue Radio this year. I've also been granted an opportunity to work with Newcastle radio for breakfast and noon shows.
