Grocott’s Mail Eleven Attackers has moved up two places in the South African Football Association (Safa) Cacadu SAB Regional league. Early last month, Attackers were in fifth spot, but have since climbed to third spot at the start of the second round.

Woodridge College first cricket team from Port Elizabeth won the annual Brown/Shaw Twenty20 Triangular at Kingswood on Saturday. The third team taking part was the Graeme College first team. In the first match of the day, Woodridge beat Kingswood by 25 runs. Woodridge batted first and made 148. Kingswood replied with 123 for 7.
Round one of the Execuline Springbok Series took part at Scribante racetrack in Port Elizabeth this weekend. Cars and drivers from yesteryear spent the day showing off their historic gems. Vehicles travelled from as far as Cape Town and Gauteng ready to be preened and locally represented.
