DSG sports stars celebrated at awards assembly

The Diocesan School for Girls Summer Sports Awards were announced in school assembly recently. Swimming awards went to Shaelyn Walker (team and half-colours awards), Caydn Barker (team and half colours re-awards), Tayla Kapp (team re-award and colours), Toni Rafferty (team re-award and honours), Emma Podesta (team award and half-colours), Courtney Repinz (team award and half-colours), Sage Cawse (Team and half-colours re-awards) and Riley Cawse (team and half-colours awards). The Diocesan School for Girls Summer Sports Awards were announced in a recent school assembly, where a number of girls were congratulated for receiving awards. Toni Rafferty was one of the standouts, being re-awarded her swimming honours, while a number of other girls were awarded for their excellent sporting achievements throughout the summer season. Below are the list of sports and the winners for each category:

Athletics awards

Team award: Emma Davidson, Sarah de la Harpe, Kristen Du Plessis, Emily McLean, Kirsty McLean Duki Sonuga Chiara Williams-Wynn

Team re-award: Emma Mulcahy, Kendal Rose

Half-Colours award: Emily McLean, Kirsty McLean, Emma Mulcahy, Duki Sonuga

Colours re-award: Kendal Rose
