The 13th annual OD Inggs Memorial Run, held in honour of the unforgettable classic automobile enthusiast Oliver Douglas Inggs who passed away at the age of 88 in 1997, takes place on 20 and 21 March.
The run will start at the Grahamstown Golf Club at 9.30am on Saturday with a lunch stop at the NG Kerk in Adelaide.

The competitors then proceed to the first day finish at St Andrews Lodge in Port Alfred at around 5pm. Day two commences at D&A Timbers in Port Alfred at 9am and will finish with a prizegiving and lunch at St Andrews Lodge.
OD Inggs ran a funeral business in Grahamstown and was one of the greatest collectors and restorers of old automobiles in Southern Africa.
The run will again be hosted by the Albany Vintage and Classic Motor Club, attracting up to 30 vehicles from Port Alfred, Grahamstown, Queenstown, East London, Port Elizabeth and George.
The run is officially approved by SAVVA (Southern African Veteran & Vintage Association) and restricted to vehicles older than 20 years.
Drivers and navigators must have valid competition and general driving licences. The public are invited to view these vehicles at any of the above venues.
Competitors are handed route schedules 30 minutes prior to their departure times and take off at intervals of one minute. The schedule prescribes numerous speed changes at certain listed landmarks.
Average speeds never exceed more than 90km/h and Marshals are posted along the route and record the time each vehicle passes their point.
Penalty points accrue for each second the competitors are early or late so the crew with the least penalty points wins the event.
