Police have confirmed that a note was found next to the 27-year-old singer’s body, but the contents of that note have still not been confirmed. However, it has been confirmed that there was no evidence of a struggle or forced entry into the singer’s room.

TK was a multiple award-winning artist. Her awards included three South African Music Awards for Best R&B Album for both her releases, TKO in 2001 and for Eject Yo Ass in 2002. She was also nominated for two MTN Metro FM Music Awards in 2000 for Best R&B Artist and Best Female Artist.
TK has performed all over the world from Senegal to Japan and has given sizzling performances at the Kora Awards and Miss South Africa Pageant.
