Last week Tuesday (24 April) the St Andrew’s College Pipe Band, travelled to Amanzimtoti to prepare for the first National Championship Gathering of the season. The College band finished second in the March Selection to KES and second in the March, Strathspey and Reel event to Jeppe in a field of eight school bands. This meant that the trophy for overall winners was presented to the College band.
