Police are investigating a case of murder following the fatal shooting of a 34-year-old man at Cambridge location near East London on Tuesday, 28 March 2017 around 10pm, according to SAPS spokesperson Captain Khaya Tonjeni.
"It is alleged that about five armed men demanded entry into his shack and forced the door open before attacking him with sharp objects and shooting him," Tonjeni said.
"He sustained gunshot wounds on his upper body and died on the scene.
"Police are currently following strong leads and arrest is imminent."
