Sergeant Ansja McKenzie has received her sergeant rank from the Station Commander of Alexandria, Lt Col Brenda Froehlik, another momentous moment for the cluster.

Mckenzie started her policing career in July 2005.
She was stationed in Port Alfred until 2010 when she followed her passion and went to serve at the Port Alfred K9 as a patrol explosive handler.
In 2014 she opted to go to Alexandria after an injury that hampered her daily duties.
“She now works as a court orderly. The experienced member is meticulous and a hard worker and has undergone several internal courses,” said Froehlik, who congratulated her for her diligence and high moral standing.
