As part of the SpiritFest's programme, The DaySpring Dance Company will present a new work by Kati Ansell and Catherine Daniels in a special performance of “Just the Way You Are” at the Grahamstown Cathedral on July 4 and 5.
"The debut performance of DaySpring Dance Co. at the festival marks the introduction of its wholesome contribution to festival fare and we are delighted to be dancing in the Cathedral” says choreographer and manager Kati Ansell.
The dance production is based on the book by Max Lucado (Christian Arts Publishers) and will see the DaySpring members performing in the neo classical and contemporary dance styles as they tell the story of finding and using your most important gift.
The youthful DaySpring dancers have trained at the Christian Dance Academy in East London and have performed at various venues in East London to audience approval.
In 2009 they participated in the Festival Eucharist Service as part of the SpiritFest and this year they return to join in again.
