The U18 Albany Craven Week rugby trials took place at Kingswood College recently. After the successful trials a selection process took place and a strong Albany merit side was selected.
The U18 Albany Craven Week rugby trials took place at Kingswood College recently. After the successful trials a selection process took place and a strong Albany merit side was selected.
The Craven Week trials will begin with the first round of matches at Marlow Agricultural School on 19 April. The Albany side will face the Midlands team, which is made up of Marlow, Cradock High and Adelaide Gymnasium pupils.
After the Marlow games, the next set of trials will then take place at Framesby in Port Elizabeth. The Albany High Schools U18 team is: Ntsika Mlamleni, Ian Herold, Dale Austin, Ryan Dougmore, Mark Prior, Ryan Black, Grant Prior, Andrew Kebble, Dane van der Westhuizen (all St Andrew’s College), Ruru Msuthu, Guy Archibald (Kingswood College),Carl Oerson, Jonathan Nunn, Wickus Coetzee, Chad Banfield (Graeme College).
