Looking for something to really jazz up the wheels of your car and make you stand out in a crowd? With the latest glow-in-the-dark paint innovation from Yokohama South Africa (YSA), your wheels will leave a trail blazing as you drive out on the town.
This unique new paint finish innovation is being applied to a limited range of TSR wheels. The paint works in a similar way to the hands of your watch and will only illuminate at night or in a darkened room, while your wheels will appear normal during the day.
“We have been working on this concept for some time, but only recently found a partner that was able to meet our stringent quality standards and could guarantee the longevity and superiority of the paint job,” says Louis Joubert, wheels executive at YSA.
The wheels sporting this new paint job will glow for up to nine hours at a time, and will recharge in the daylight.
