Integrating into a new place

A big part of being an international student is feeling at home- so far away from home. It’s normal to experience culture shock when coming into a new place. It’s the feeling of disorientation experienced by someone when they are suddenly subjected to an unfamiliar culture, way of life, or set of attitudes.

WHAT ABOUT INTEGRATION?

It’s important to correct the pronunciation of your name. The general feeling when chatting to current international students about feeling integrated in this country, this town, and this university is overwhelmingly positive. It seems that we’ve got something good going on here.
